Spectacled Flying Fox
The spectacled flying fox was listed as a threatened species under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act of 1999. They are considered to be vulnerable because of the loss of their prime feeding habitat and camp sites. It has also been reported that spectacled flying foxes fly over water to drink and are sometimes eaten by crocodiles.

Southern Cassowary
The Southern Cassowary is vulnerable because of destruction in the rainforest. The name cassowary comes from a Papuan name meaning 'horned head', referring to the helmet of tough skin bone on the crown of the head.

Giant White-Tailed Rat
The Giant White-Tailed Rat is also known as Uromys caudimaculatus and is one of the largest rodents in Australia. The rodent nests in trees and caves, and, being an efficient climber, is active on the rainforest canopy as well as on the rainforest floor.

Boyd's Rainforest Dragons
The Boyd's Rainforest Dragon is also known as Hypsilurus Boydii. It spends most of its time in trees and due to its camouflage it is often very hard to see and thus tends to go unnoticed. Unlike most other lizards, it doesn't bask, instead it lets its body temperature to fluctuate with air temperature.
